New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist Adenta Kumi has made bold remarks about his party’s determination to reclaim power in the 2028 general elections.
In a video shared on X on August 4, 2026, Adenta Kumi stated that the NPP is prepared to do whatever it takes to return to power.
According to him, if the party has to go to extreme lengths to win the next election, it is prepared to do so, adding that the NPP will not allow itself to be intimidated by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“If the NDC takes 100 of our girls, we will take 500 of their girls. No matter what, we will do what we have to do to win the 2028 elections. If we have to go to hell and campaign, we will go there and campaign, and we will not let anybody silence us.
“We know what the NDC is doing. They are trying to keep us mute so that during the elections they can do whatever they want. But I told them when they arrested me that you can kill the messenger, but you can’t kill the message of change,” he said.

He further stated that Ghanaians are now more enlightened and can distinguish which political party deserves their support.
According to Adenta Kumi, many Ghanaians prefer the NPP and are therefore prepared to vote the party back into power in the 2028 general elections.
“Ghanaians themselves have tasted water and alcohol, and they know which one is better for life,” he added.
