The Ghana Scholarships Authority (GSA) has begun interviewing shortlisted applicants for its 2026/2027 Academic Year Local Tertiary Scholarship Scheme.
The nationwide interview exercise, which commenced on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, is expected to continue until Monday, August 18, 2026, at designated Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assembly (MMDA) venues across the country.
The Authority has advised all applicants to check their application portals for updates on their interview schedules and report to their assigned venues with all the required documents for verification and assessment.
The GSA urged shortlisted applicants to strictly adhere to the interview guidelines throughout the exercise.
"The Authority encourages all shortlisted applicants to adhere strictly to the interview guidelines and wishes them success throughout the process," the report said.

The Authority also reiterated that the scholarship application and selection process is entirely free of charge, warning applicants against individuals claiming to facilitate access to scholarships for a fee.
It stressed that it has not engaged any third party to assist applicants in exchange for payment.
The GSA, therefore, called on members of the public to report anyone demanding money under the pretext of securing scholarships by contacting the Authority on 0302962928 for immediate action.
The Authority said the measure forms part of efforts to ensure a transparent and credible scholarship selection process while protecting applicants from fraud.
