An alleged thief, who identified himself as Kwaku Bright, was forced to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour after an operation reportedly went wrong.

Bright, who was captured in a widely circulated video, was seen being apprehended by a group of men after allegedly breaking into someone's house. The men were heard interrogating him about his actions at a location believed to be a police station.

During the interrogation, Bright was questioned about why he had chosen to steal instead of seeking legitimate work.

When asked whether he would steal again, he responded, “Stealing is not good because if you are caught, you will be beaten.”

One of the men confronting him said, “It is 1:15 a.m and I am working as an Okada rider. But you are out here stealing with this pair of pliers and about five different SIM cards. Why?”

Following the interrogation, the men led Bright in a prayer and asked him to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour, to encourage him to refrain from stealing.

“I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Saviour. So, help me God,” Kwaku said.
