A loaded tipper truck has crashed into a Benz Sprinter school bus on the Dzorwulu-Accra Mall stretch of the N1 Highway, leaving several occupants injured and causing heavy traffic congestion.
The accident occurred on Thursday, July 30, 2026, when the tipper truck reportedly rammed into the rear of the school bus, which bears registration number GT-5717-14.
Images from the scene show extensive damage to both vehicles, with visible blood stains suggesting that some occupants sustained injuries.
However, the exact number of casualties has not yet been confirmed.

Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded to the scene and are assessing the situation to determine the extent of the incident and coordinate emergency response efforts.
