A Ghanaian mother has gone viral after she was captured passionately coaching her daughter, identified as Gakye Nicky, during a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) championship.
In the widely circulated video, the mother can be heard loudly shouting instructions from the sidelines as her daughter grappled with her opponent.
Her energetic coaching, delivered in the Ghanaian language, has amused many social media users.
Throughout the match, she repeatedly urged her daughter not to give up and to do everything possible to win.
"Don't entertain her. Teach her sense. Gakye, break her hand. Make sure she cries... she is suffering," the mother is heard shouting.
