A video has emerged showing media personality and New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary aspirant, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah, being conveyed in an ambulance to the Nsuta Circuit Court after prosecutors reportedly required him to appear in court for them to take his plea in person.

The footage, shared on X on July 17, 2026, captures Afrifa-Mensah wearing a neck brace, with bandages and plasters on his head, visibly limping as he is assisted into the ambulance.

Dressed in a blue‑black top and black shorts, he was assisted to the ambulance and subsequently placed on a stretcher inside the vehicle, underscoring the extent of his condition.

He reportedly sustained injuries on July 12, 2026, during his arrest over alleged violence during the NPP Afigya Sekyere East constituency executive elections.

His team alleges he was assaulted while serving a court injunction to halt the elections, while police maintain that his group disrupted the process.
