Ghana international Felix Afena-Gyan has assured Ghanaians that they should expect improved performances from him in the upcoming season following his appearance at the All Stars Festival held at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

Speaking after the All Stars Festival at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on July 11, 2026, Afena-Gyan described the occasion as an enjoyable experience, highlighting the opportunity to reconnect with former teammates and colleagues.

"I mean, I had fun. We all had fun, you know. It's a form of unity. I got to see my old colleagues and my old teammates, and it's a fun game, so it's very, very amazing," he said.

The 23-year-old also used the opportunity to reassure supporters that he is focused on producing stronger performances in the new campaign.

"You should expect more. That's me, you understand? That's the job I have to do. You guys should expect more. I'm going to give my best in the coming season," he stated.
