General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong has given a strong indication that the political party will review elections that took place in some constituencies over the weekend.

A statement from his office announced that the NPP held elections in 245 constituencies, representing an 88.7% success rate.

However, with some developments during the process, the party's National Steering Committee will review election activities in the following constituencies:

* Afigya Sekyere East
* Adansi Asokwa
* Bantama
* Asante Akyem Central

Kodua's statement indicated that some four constituencies could not hold their elections due to what he described as last-minute challenges.

Meanwhile, 23 constituencies had their elections put on ice because there were various disputes surrounding the election.

UPDATE ON THE CONSTITUENCY EXECUTIVE ELECTIONS.

Out of the 276 constituencies, elections were successfully and peacefully conducted in 245 constituencies, representing an 88.7% success rate.

The remaining constituencies are as follows:

1. 23 constituencies had their elections put on hold due to various disputes.

2. 4 constituencies could not hold elections because of last minute challenges:

* Ningo Prampram
* Atwima Mponua
* Obuasi West
* Trobu

3. The National Steering Committee will review election activities in the following constituencies:

* Afigya Sekyere East
* Adansi Asokwa
* Bantama
* Asante Akyem Central
