The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to working closely with the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) to build a stronger energy sector that supports industrial growth and economic transformation.

The assurance was given during a meeting with an AGI delegation led by its CEO, Seth Twum-Akwaboah, where both sides discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between government and the private sector.

Sharing details of the meeting in a Facebook post on Wednesday, July 8, Dr. Jinapor said the engagement created a platform for open discussions on the challenges facing industry and practical ways to improve the business environment.

He noted that the government values the input of the private sector and believes that regular engagement with industry stakeholders is essential for developing policies that respond to the needs of businesses and promote sustainable economic growth.

The minister also expressed his appreciation to Twum-Akwaboah and the AGI delegation for their constructive contributions, describing their insights as valuable to the government's efforts to transform the energy sector.

Dr Jinapor stressed that stronger partnerships between government and industry will play a key role in building a resilient energy sector capable of powering industrial expansion, attracting investment, creating jobs and supporting Ghana's long-term economic development.
