Ghana coach Carlos Queiroz has sent a strong message to England ahead of the World Cup game against the Black Stars on Tuesday in Boston.
The Black Stars head into the game after a morale-boosting win against Panama in their opening Group L match.
Midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi's last-gasp goal against the Central Americans leaves Ghana one win away from reaching the Round of 32.
While the Black Stars are seen as underdogs for Tuesday's encounter, Queiroz believes the country will be backed by the 33 million Ghanaians supporting the national team.
"We have a great match in front of us," Queiroz told a press conference. "This is what we are looking for all our lives: to be in the right environment at the right time and to play against the best players in the world.
"We know how England play. They have excellent players, they have the experience of their Premier League. They have intensity, but we know how we can control this. We know they have three lions, but we have 33 million lions."
The Portuguese trainer is poised to lead the Black Stars to the Round of 32 and believes that getting a positive result against England will set the tone for success in North America.
"We are in this competition for points. It is to get the points in order to qualify. That is the most important thing for us," he continued.
"Trust me, there will be huge entertainment on the pitch. We belong to the entertainment business. We are going to fight, play, and enjoy ourselves. I guarantee you the match will remain in the memories and hearts of people when it finishes."
