The founder of BK Ministries Pastor Badu Kyenkyenhene has issued a public statement clarifying remarks made during a recent sermon that have generated widespread discussion and media attention in recent days.

According to the preacher, several media reports and headlines circulating online have misrepresented the message he delivered, creating what he describes as a misleading impression of his teachings.

In a statement released to the public on June 9, 2026, the clergyman explained that the sermon was centered on the biblical theme of grace and the transformative power of God's intervention in the lives of believers.

"My sermon was centered on the theme of Grace. My point was simple: genuine and lasting transformation comes through the grace of God. At no point was I excusing wrongdoing, endorsing sin or lowering biblical standards," he stated.

The clarification follows growing public debate sparked by excerpts of the sermon that were widely shared on social media and reported by some media outlets.

The preacher contends that the controversy stems from portions of the message being isolated from the broader context in which they were delivered.

According to him, the omission of key sections of the sermon has led to interpretations that do not accurately reflect the intended message.

"I believe the controversy stems not from what I said but from the omission of the full context of my message. When portions of a sermon are isolated from the broader teaching, they can create an impression that does not accurately represent the message being preached," he explained.

The pastor urged members of the public, particularly those who have encountered reports about the sermon, to listen to the complete message before forming opinions about its content.

"I encourage anyone who has come across these reports to listen to the complete sermon before drawing conclusions. My ministry has always been committed to preaching the truth of God's Word and the transforming power of His grace," he noted.
