The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Vice President of Executive Senators International School (ESIS), Enoch Dawuni Ninsaw, has lauded the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, for launching the Sacred Crown Awards 2026, an initiative aimed at celebrating and preserving African heritage, spirituality, and wellness.
Speaking on the sidelines of the launch on June 5, 2026, Ninsaw described the school's invitation to the event by the Ga Mantse as a recognition of ESIS' commitment to promoting Ghanaian culture, traditions, and values among its students.
According to him, the vision behind the Sacred Crown Awards aligns closely with the school's educational philosophy, which places a strong emphasis on preserving cultural identity and ensuring that young people remain connected to their roots despite the growing influence of social media and foreign cultures.
"At Executive Senators International School, we believe that culture is an important part of education. We are committed to teaching our students the values, traditions, and customs that define us as a people," Ninsaw stated.
He noted that preserving Ghanaian culture and instilling its values in the younger generation would play a crucial role in safeguarding the nation's heritage and identity.
He stressed the need to expose young people to cultural traditions and practices to ensure future generations remain proud of their roots and continue to uphold Africa's rich cultural legacy.
The Sacred Crown Awards 2026 was officially launched under the theme, "Celebrating African Heritage, Spirituality and Wellness." The initiative seeks to honour individuals and institutions that contribute significantly to the promotion of African culture, spiritual values, and holistic well-being.
The event brought together traditional leaders, religious figures, cultural advocates, and other stakeholders committed to advancing Africa's rich cultural identity and values.
Among the distinguished personalities who attended the launch were the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu; Founder and General Overseer of Parliament Chapel International, Bishop Dr. Amoako Attah; Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, Bishop Salifu Amoako; Prophet Fire Oja, leader of the Holiness of Christ Zion Ministry; as well as several traditional rulers and chiefs from across the country.
The launch forms part of broader efforts by the Ga Traditional Council, under the leadership of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, to promote cultural preservation, spiritual harmony, and African identity for future generations.
