The mother of slain Ghana Immigration Service officer Stephen King Amoah broke down in tears while speaking to journalists outside the Kaneshie District Court.

In a 32-second video shared by Joy FM on X on June 1, 2026, the grieving mother, visibly distraught and wearing a white T-shirt bearing the inscription “JUSTICE” and a photo of her late son, expressed deep frustration over the prolonged delays in the murder case.

The grieving mother said she is leaving Bright [the suspect] to God in heaven.

According to her, if the court fails to administer justice, God will avenge her.

"I leave Bright in the hands of God in heaven. If the government fails to deliver justice in this case, I know that heaven will surely do so. Why is Bright doing this to me?" she quizzed.

She noted that it has been almost a year since the murder happened, yet she recently heard Bright announcing that his wife is about to deliver a baby.

She declared that just as he murdered her son by cutting off his legs and hands, that is exactly the kind of child his wife is going to deliver.

"It has been almost a year since you killed my child, yet you have the effrontery to announce that your wife is about to deliver. The same way you brutally murdered my son by cutting off his legs and hands, that is the kind of child your wife will deliver. Mark my words!" she declared.
