The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has secured a renewed sponsorship partnership with betPawa ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Speaking after the announcement, GFA Vice President Mark Addo described the renewed agreement as a continuation of a successful relationship between the two parties, highlighting the impact betPawa’s previous support has had on Ghana football.
“This is just a continuation of the relationship that we had with betPawa over three years ago, during which they made significant contributions to the national teams, the Black Stars and the Black Queens,” he said.
According to him, the partnership also benefited women’s domestic football through the company’s support for the Women’s Premier League locker room bonus initiative.
“They also introduced a locker room bonus for the Women’s Premier League, which has gone a long way. So it has been a very good and successful partnership,” he added.
The renewed sponsorship is expected to provide increased financial support for both the Black Stars and the Black Queens as they prepare for major international assignments.

The Black Stars are building towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while the Black Queens continue preparations for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The GFA is hopeful that the renewed investment will strengthen both teams on and off the pitch.
“We’ve renewed the partnership today, with even bigger support coming the way of our national teams, both the women’s and men’s teams. We’re really excited about our relationship with betPawa,” he concluded.
