Avatime Gbadzeme is gaining attention following the circulation of a viral TikTok video showcasing the breathtaking ‘8 Cave,’ a natural attraction known for its deep waterfall canyon and mysterious pool.

The video, sighted by GhanaWeb on May 23, 2026, captured the breathtaking interior of the cave, which features a deep waterfall canyon and a mysterious natural pool believed to have an unfathomable depth.

According to the narration in the video, the cave derives its name from the shape formed by the waterfall flowing through the rocky structure.

“This is the 8 Cave of Avatime Gbadzeme. Inside this cave lies a small waterfall canyon with unfathomable pool depth. Aside from this entrance, there’s no other entrance to access this cave,” the narrator said.

The footage further revealed that the cave contains a natural pool inhabited by fish, while part of the water body near the entrance is estimated to be about 12 feet deep.

The narrator also disclosed that the pool extends through a tunnel leading deeper into the cave, adding to the mystery surrounding the attraction.

The towering entrance of the cave, said to be much taller than the average person, has also drawn admiration from social media users, with many describing the site as one of Ghana’s hidden eco-tourism gems.
