The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the West Akim Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region, Paulina Akabila, has commended businessman Solomon Kofi Togbeyo for constructing the Best Brain Academy School at Asamankese Akanteng to support education in the community.
Speaking during the grand opening ceremony of Best Brain Academy School, held under the theme “Rebuilding for Excellence, A Fresh Start, Brighter Future,” on May 21, 2026, the MCE described the initiative as a major contribution to the development of education in the area.
According to her, it is not easy for a private individual to invest huge resources into building a school for the benefit of an entire community and therefore called on residents, parents, and students to support the growth of the institution.
“Let us support as a community to make the school grow. It is not easy for a private person to support a community with such an initiative, so it is a collective effort for the community, the parents and the children to help build the school so that one day we can get a secondary school here also,” she stated.
The facility is equipped with modern infrastructure, including an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laboratory aimed at improving teaching and learning.
Speaking on behalf of Barima Appiah Dankwa II, the Ankobeahene of Asamankese Akanteng, Baffour Agyekum Boakye, praised the businessman for the initiative and assured that traditional leaders would continue to support projects that promote development in the area.
He noted that the chiefs would work to encourage more investors to contribute to the growth of the town and urged community members to make good use of the educational facility.
The ceremony was chaired by Nana Okuni Dankwa Amoah I.
The newly commissioned school, located at Akanteng in the Eastern Region, was built by businessman Solomon Kofi Togbeyo, popularly known as “No Pressure.”
