Black Stars goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare has opened up about the most intimidating stadium atmosphere he has experienced in his career, revealing that Ghana's game against Germany remains unmatched.
Speaking in an interview on Prime Max TV, the goalkeeper explained that although fans in Ghana do not always create the same atmosphere seen in Europe, the intensity during that particular encounter against Germany was overwhelming.

According to Benjamin Asare, the noise inside the stadium was so intense that players had to shout loudly at each other just to communicate during the game.
He noted that the atmosphere genuinely intimidated him, describing it as one of the loudest and most challenging environments he has ever experienced on a football pitch.
“As for the atmosphere and noise, that was where the shouting was. He was really intimidated by the atmosphere in the stadium,” he said .
Meanwhile the Black Stars will play against Mexico in a pre-World Cup friendly game at 2:00 am on the morning of Saturday, May 23, 2026.
