Dr Philip Siaw Kissi, Family Secretary of the late Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo, claims he has not been told where the body of the late leader of Kristo Asafo Mission is being kept.

He made this comment on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem on May 21, 2026.

“As I am speaking to you now, the family doesn’t even know where the body is,” he stated.

According to him, it appears only one of the deceased’s children, former MP for Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, knows the location of her father’s body.

“It is only Adwoa Safo who knows, and when we asked, she (Adwoa Safo) told us the body is in a special place and that even she requires presidential permission to go there,” he said.

Dr Kissi, who doubles as co-chairman of the funeral planning committee, said the explanation did not make sense to the wider family, but they chose restraint to avoid escalating tensions.

Apostle Safo passed away on September 11, 2025.

Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo is expected to be buried on June 25, 2026, if things go as planned.
