An eyewitness has given an account of how a landlord at Medie Ketewa in the Ga West Municipality allegedly stabbed his tenant during a heated confrontation over a GH¢30 electricity bill in Medie Ketewa.
In a video shared on X by Ask Media on May 20, 2026, the eyewitness recounted that the landlord allegedly invited the deceased into his room over the unpaid debt, where the confrontation reportedly escalated.
“He was owing the landlord GH¢30. So, he (the landlord) asked him to come to his room. When he got there, tensions escalated, and the landlord stabbed him in the chest,” the eyewitness recounted.

Residents have been left in shock following the alleged killing of 37-year-old tenant Opoku Agyemang.
According to reports, the landlord and tenant had a close relationship beyond their rental arrangement, with some describing them as friends and long-time work colleagues.
The victim, a married man with three children, was pronounced dead at the scene.
