A man has demanded GH¢30,000 in compensation from his brother-in-law and his family after he allegedly found out that the man had been involved in an intimate relationship with his wife.

Narrating his ordeal on Kumasi-based Oyerepa TV and monitored by GhanaWeb on May 20, 2026, the man expressed frustration over what he described as betrayal and disrespect from both his wife and her family.

According to him, he only discovered the alleged affair after repeatedly driving his wife to places she claimed she needed to visit for personal errands.

“The woman is my wedded wife whom I live with. Sometimes, she asks me to drive her to certain places to follow up on one thing or another,” he recounted.

He claimed that unknown to him, his wife would allegedly visit her brother after he had dropped her off and driven away.

“Unknown to me, the moment I turn my car around, she goes to her brother to engage in intimate acts with him,” he alleged.

The man said he later uncovered the relationship and subsequently demanded compensation from the brother-in-law and his family for the humiliation caused.

“Eventually, I found out about their affair after I threatened her using an egg quashing ritual. When I smashed the egg on the ground and made some declarations, she then confessed to the act. So, I demanded my brothe-in-law compensate me to a tune of GH¢30,000. He has not paid a dime to me. The family has also not paid anything to me,” he lamented.
Despite the alleged betrayal, the man disclosed that he still lives with his wife and continues to cater for her needs.

He further revealed that he had taken the matter to Oyerepa TV’s arbitration programme in hopes of resolving the dispute through mediation.
