The Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Yandoh, has warned the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) over what he describes as intimidation of NPP members.

According to him, the party should be careful because power changes hands. He claimed that the NPP will win power in the 2028 elections and that they have vowed to retaliate against the NDC.

Speaking in an interview on Angel TV, excerpts of which have been shared on social media, he stated that while the NDC is pursuing former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta under the previous administration of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the same approach will be taken against current Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson by the next government.

He warned that if the world does not end, NDC members will not find things easy in the country.

“Ato Forson will be used as a scapegoat; they themselves will bring him after the 2028 elections. The way they are pursuing Ken Ofori-Atta, the same way the NPP will do to him after 2028 elections. The NDC should pray the world ends because if not, they won’t find it easy in the country,” he said.
