Following a simple yet affectionate birthday wish from the Member of Parliament for South Dayi and Majority Chief Whip, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, to Tema Mayor Ebi Bright, which stirred reactions online, netizens have been left surprised and speculating about the relationship between the two.

Some social media users, after the post, questioned why they had not previously recognised that the two were married, especially given that Dafeamekpor served as legal counsel to Ebi Bright during the 2024 general elections.
