Renowned traditional priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, has announced his willingness to purchase the Glorious Wave Church International auditorium in Sakumono if Christian pastors do not express interest in the building.
The offer comes after Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, founder of Glorious Wave Church International, put the church property and related assets up for sale.
According to initial reports, the sale was to settle debts, but the prophet has clarified that the decision stems from a divine instruction to relocate the ministry to a new site in Sakumono Estate, describing it as an act of obedience rather than financial distress.
It is on the back of this that Kwaku Bonsam has offered to buy the church should no pastor decide to buy it.
Prophet Badu Kobi breaks silence on 'selling his church to pay off debts'
He made the remarks while being interviewed near what appears to be the church premises.
In the footage shared by SIKAOFFICIAL on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on May 18, 2026, he was captured expressing his readiness to acquire the property.
“I, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, have come here personally to inspect the building. If you are a pastor and you fail to buy this edifice to use as a church, then I will buy it and convert it into a fetish school. It is a huge structure with everything inside - including a jacuzzi in the bathroom where I can even relax,” he said in the video.
When asked by the interviewer whether he had spoken to the church owner, Nana Kwaku Bonsam confirmed that they have held a fruitful discussion.
However, he declined to disclose the details, describing the conversation as personal.
He went on to question why fellow Christians have not come to the aid of Prophet Badu Kobi, claiming that if a fetish priest is in hardship, another fetish priest like himself will readily help him.

Kwaku Bonsam further said that pastors should be ashamed for failing to support their brother in need.

“I spoke to him when I arrived. I told him I came to survey the property, but I will not disclose what we discussed because it is personal. However, I want to challenge Christians on what the Bible says about catering for one another.
"Prophet Badu Kobi mentioned on UTV that he is hungry and that he doesn’t even use a good car. So why are you not helping him?” When another fetish priest is in need, I make sure I help him. So, pastors, if your own brother Badu Kobi is in need and you cannot help him, you should be ashamed of yourselves,” he emphasised.
