Ooh poor Ghana, if only we could go the Nigerian way, banning all rice imports for at least 2 years, that can solve our problem. But I am afraid it's never going to happen because we don't have selfless leaders. Every one is importing cheap foreign rice and poultry products whilst the local producers suffer. Subsequent governments do nothing about this because their party members are into import business, just like railway. I have never seen any successful country without a railway , but the business people in Ghana have all imported trucks to haul manganese, bauxite, and what have you and our roads continue to deteriorate, our bread winners continue to die in avoidable accidents. Ooh poor Ghanaians, who can save us? Only Jesus can save.

I used to know this brown rice in Ghana which can only produce in the country are now left behind because of our lack of knowledge, thinking they aren't good. We have a long way to go as blacks.

A big man's wife is importing RICE how can they make a law to stop the importation of RICE?
Which big man has spoken against galamsay? Nobody because they are benefiting from it.
They think of their pockets but not Ghana.
