A video circulating on social media shows a woman accusing her boyfriend of using love charms on her, generating widespread reactions online.
The video, which was shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on May 2, 2026, features the lady, identified as Fausty, appearing on Lawson TV’s relationship talk show. There, she alleged that she had been charmed through a padlock.
Continuing her account, Fausty claimed her boyfriend, identified as Hayford, refused to let her go after she opened the padlock, which she believed contained the love charm.

In addition to these allegations, Fausty stated that Hayford had physically assaulted her, taken her money, and pressured her to visit a traditionalist.
“When I opened the padlock, all the love I had for him disappeared. So I called him to inform him, but he told me he still loved me and couldn’t let me go.
“I watched him go to the farm one day, and I packed my things and left.
“I didn’t suspect at the beginning that he had used charms on me because I genuinely loved him, even during the time he used to beat me. People advised me to leave him, but I refused,” she said.
