Apostle Gabriel Oppong, father of the late Sally Benson, a 33-year-old Kumasi-based popular beautician who was allegedly beaten to death by her businessman boyfriend, has called on authorities to ensure justice for his daughter.
According to him, he wants the authorities to fast-track the process to secure justice in the case.
Speaking in an interview on Esra TV, excerpts of which has been shared on social media, the Apostle explained that he lives in Accra, while Sally lived alone in Kumasi. He disclosed that she had visited him less than a week before her death.
“She is not married and had no children. She was determined and living her life. She owned a pub, an African restaurant, and was really trying to establish herself,” he said.
He added that although he had heard about the suspect before, he had never met him in person.
“I just hope the authorities Fastrack the process so that we can get the justice that we want, “he added.
