Ghanaian forward Kudus Mohammed has reportedly refused medical advice from Tottenham Hotspur to undergo surgery in a bid to recover from his hamstring injury.
The 25-year-old sustained a significant thigh/hamstring injury against Sunderland on January 4, 2026.
It was reported that he had begun his recovery and was expected to feature for Tottenham before the end of the season to help salvage their campaign and avoid relegation.

However, on April 9, 2026, reports indicated that Kudus had suffered a fresh setback during his recovery and could be sidelined for an even longer period.
Scans revealed discomfort during a training session, and surgery was recommended to address the hamstring injury.
In the latest development, Kudus according to reports has outrightly ruled out surgery, which would require several months of recovery, and opted for a more conservative approach.
Reports indicate that the decision is driven by the attacker’s desire to join the Black Stars for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as he has been out of action since January 2026.
Kudus is currently undergoing rehabilitation under the close supervision of Spurs’ medical staff.
