Kudus Mohammed's former agent Jennifer discloses reason for their break-up

Football agent Jennifer Mendelewitsch has revealed that pressure from Ghanaian player Kudus Mohammed’s family contributed to their split.

The pair parted ways ahead of Kudus’ transfer from West Ham United to Tottenham Hotspur, which was worth around £50 million during the 2025/2026 summer transfer window.

Explaining the motive behind the decision, Jennifer indicated that her contract with the Black Stars attacker was nearing its end, and she realized his family had coerced him not to renew the partnership due to monetary demands.

“We were coming to the end of our term and, as we always do, we asked ourselves: what do we do? Do we continue on our path together or not? I understood perfectly that his family was exerting pressure to get him to say no, and he submitted to it. Honestly, it’s a shame. In fact, his family wanted more money. Players only have one career.

“I’ll be able to manage transfers for another 30 years if I want to. But what I mean is that he’s the one being punished the most in this story. I made all his transfers until the last one. He is the one who is being punished the most in this story,” she said during an interview on EN OFF.

Jennifer added that the discontinuation of the partnership has caused more harm to Kudus, as his club Tottenham Hotspur are struggling to survive in the Premier League.

“They [Tottenham Hotspur] are flirting with relegation to the Championship; it’s the first time that has happened to him. Well, sorry, but you punished yourself. It’s a shame, but that’s life. It’s pretty crazy,” Mendelewitsch said.
