Black Stars defender, Nicholas Opoku made a composed return from injury, earning a solid 7.3 rating as Kasımpaşa secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Alanyaspor.
The result lifts Kasımpaşa to 13th place on 31 points, just two behind 12th-placed Alanyaspor in the ongoing 2025/2026 Turkish Super Lig season.
The Ghanaian defender delivered an efficient and disciplined performance at the back, winning all three of his duels, including a perfect record in the air (2/2) and on the ground (1/1).
He also contributed two interceptions, four clearances, and a recovery, helping his side maintain a clean sheet.
Opoku was equally reliable in possession. He completed 46 of his 51 passes and played three passes into the final third, with an impressive 5/6 accuracy in advanced areas.
His distribution also included four accurate long balls from seven attempts, while he recorded 61 touches in an assured display.
Going forward, Opoku posed a minor threat with one shot— a headed effort inside the box that went off target. He also registered two touches in the opposition area and won a foul.
Overall, it was a well-rounded performance from Opoku, whose return provides a timely boost for Kasımpaşa as they look to climb further up the table.
