The Church is a sub set of the State as it was even in Jesus's time. Why can't there be legislation that caterers to both the State and Church? The stalement is arising because a segment of the State insists on imposing its dictates on the whole. The proposed law is essentially problematic because it seeks to criminalise identity. What should people born with disordered sexual orientation do? Kill themselves. We need education and informed discourse. The Rwandan trajectory is better than the Ugandan way.

What a bunch of clueless lot --still wasting time on this ANTI-GAY-ISM BILL !--I have always alluded to the fact that-- that ridiculous 'PROPER ADULT HUMAN SEXUAL BEHAVIOR 'was completely needless to have been deliberated upon in Parliament.--Why ? my reason that the whole debate was mischievous --a display of ignorance and an embarrassment ---To the extent that--HOMOSEXUALITY as a subject was made to appear that it was alien to our Ghanaian society-----complete denial that people with deviant sexual behavior culturally are rejected in our Ghanaian society . Quite incredulous --incorrect to claim that Homosexuality is not innate,--It must as well be stated that all persons who are left-handed must be condemned ,
Surprising even some religious leaders, traditional rulers ,political leaders in Ghana have to hoodwink society at large to wrongly characterize and condemn any PERSON or PERSONS who tend to display a HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR.
Why the waste of time in PARLIAMENT over this ANTI-GAY-ISM BILL--?don't we already have in our ordinance a penalty that deals with any indecent sexual behavior in public ? Note that whether the person[s] are HOMOSEXUAL or HETEROSEXUAL or whatever are caught in public displaying any indecent sexual behavior the LAW deals with them.
That the difference between HUMAN RIGHT and CULTURAL RIGHT are distinct---HUMAN RIGHT is FUNDAMENTAL -basic --not changeable unlike CULTURAL RIGHT which is dynamic--not static --changeable .. It is important to note that -then President Akuffo Addo had emphatically stated that not under his watch same gender union shall never be Lawful in GHANA .--So why this mischief alluding that HOMOSEXUALITY is more to do with sexual intimacy -----How sad and pedantic on the part of some to forget that the fundamental essence of any RELATIONSHIP whether HETEROSEXUAL .or HOMOSEXUAL or whatever is COMPANIOSHIP and has nothing to do with a sexual union.
And how can Parliament therefore go ahead and criminalize MORALITY. LIKE the Late Pope Francis ,Late Lawyer Akoto AMPAW ,Madam CHARLLOTE OSEI, Cardinal Turkson and others had advised even if Homosexuality is considered a SIN --WE must LOVE the SINNER and HATE the SIN ---JESUS teaches that we must LOVE each other.
Finally I will advise PARLIAMENT to let that ridiculous PROPER ADULT HUMAN SEXUAL BEHAVIOR die its death --do not resurrect that ANTI-GAY-SM BILL again --never, never- but instead as a priority PARLIAMENT must get on to enact a LAW to BAN any artisanal small scale mining ventures in the country for a foreseeable period- say some 5 -7 years to allow our degraded agricultural lands .Forest Reserves and Water Bodies back to Life by a serious National Afforestation exercise .
