Former Ghana Football Association presidential aspirant, Amanda Clinton has weighed in on the ongoing coaching situation surrounding the Black Stars, urging authorities to prioritize quality over cost.
Clinton believes Ghana must be willing to invest heavily if the country is serious about restoring the Black Stars to their former glory on the global stage.
“Ghana must be ready to pay more for top coaches,” she stated, stressing that elite managerial talent comes at a price.
Her comments come amid continued debate over the direction of the national team and the kind of leadership required to drive long-term success.
Clinton further argued that financial commitment to top coaching expertise should not be seen as an expense, but rather an investment that could yield significant returns.
“What is money when football is the heart of the country and by winning more we get more endorsements and partnerships,” she added.
