The British High Commission in Ghana has congratulated a Ghanaian soldier, Officer Cadet Prince Andrew Adamtey, for his outstanding achievement at the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
In a Facebook post shared on April 10, 2026, British High Commission praised Adamtey for his exceptional performance as he commissioned from the academy.
“Congratulations to Officer Cadet Prince Andrew Adamtey, commissioning today from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and receiving the International Award for best all-round performance!” the post read.

The British High Commission highlighted that his accomplishment reflects both the impact of UK military training and Ghana’s growing reputation for producing high-calibre personnel.
The post also referenced a similar achievement by another Ghanaian, Thelma Gbewony, who was awarded the Sandhurst Medal last year.
