A tragic series of road accidents along the Gomoa Fetteh stretch in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region has left one person dead and six others fighting for their lives.

The deceased, 23-year-old Elvis Antwi from Agona Kwesi-Twikrom, lost his life after his motorbike collided with a commercial Urvan vehicle, with registration number GN 4754-19, near the Hope Village Hospital.

According to reports on adomonline.com, the other victims were injured in separate accidents along the same stretch as they made their way toward the beach, turning what should have been an ordinary journey into a scene of distress and emergency.

Eyewitnesses say the crashes happened suddenly, leaving little time for drivers and riders to react.

A driver, Seth Kpeye, who spoke to Adom News, said the collision occurred suddenly, leaving several people injured.

Emergency responders quickly stepped in, rushing the injured to nearby health facilities where they are currently receiving treatment, with some said to be in critical condition.
