Business leaders attending the 2026 Kwahu Business Forum will enjoy an exclusive dinner hosted by President John Dramani Mahama.

The high-profile session, set as the highlight of the forum’s opening day, offers captains of industry a rare opportunity to engage directly with the President in candid discussions on Ghana’s economic future.

The dinner will take place at the newly built Kwahu Convention Centre on the scenic Mpraeso Hills in the Eastern Region. It has been billed as a platform for extensive dialogue between President Mahama and the nation’s leading entrepreneurs.

In the spirit of Easter, the evening will also feature musical performances by celebrated Ghanaian artistes Stonebwoy and Kwabena Kwabena, who will entertain guests with some of their finest songs.

President Mahama is expected to outline his administration’s economic vision, detailing strategic initiatives such as the Kwahu Business Forum itself, aimed at igniting entrepreneurship and driving sustainable growth.

He will also seek frank feedback from business leaders on government efforts to streamline investment facilitation and strengthen private sector expansion.

The three-day forum, which opens Friday, April 3, 2026, is expected to draw over 1,000 participants. It will provide a platform for entrepreneurs to connect with investors through networking sessions, investor matchmaking, and a trade exhibition showcasing products and services.

Friday’s program includes the official opening ceremony, exhibition tours, and high-level panel discussions.

Selected business leaders from the Kwahu enclave will share success stories and insights with the youth, while masterclasses on key business topics will precede the presidential dinner.

Saturday’s sessions will feature keynote addresses from industry leaders, with President Mahama in attendance.

The Governor of the Bank of Ghana is scheduled to deliver a special address on the economy and engage in discussions with participants.

The forum will conclude with a health walk at the Kwahu Business Village, followed by closed-door meetings between banking executives and the Bank of Ghana on economic matters.
