Social media users continue to express frustrations following news that the virtual testimony of Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1, has been adjourned to April 16, 2026.
The postponement was due to technical challenges with the court’s video system, GHOne TV reports.
The Accra High Court had scheduled NAM1, the embattled founder of the defunct Menzgold Ghana Limited, to testify virtually in ongoing proceedings related to the company’s collapsed gold dealership operations.
However, according to a post shared by GHOne TV, the video link failed to function properly, forcing the court to reschedule.
Here is the latest update on NAM1's case
The development has sparked heated reactions on Facebook, with many users questioning why the case has dragged on for so long.
Some argued that if it were an ordinary Ghanaian, the matter would have been resolved swiftly, with harsher consequences.
Others criticised the justice system for allowing NAM1 to “walk around freely” while thousands of Menzgold customers continue to demand the recovery of their locked-up funds.

One online user wrote, "The real Abu Trica."
“Today is April fool...looks like technology can remember that. But question ooo....why couldn't they initiate same virtual means with Ofori-Atta if prosecution established a case instead of handing excuses for asylum seeking with persecution?” another user said.
Another user had this to say; “Meanwhile, the hunter has been jailed long time!!”
“The wheels of justice grind slowly. This is what they'll tell you but I hope the wheel doesn't take forever to grind. Hmmm,” another user wrote.
One user further claimed; “He's still walking free...he has my 6000 cedis ooo.”
