The widow is young and pretty. She should focus on building a career or vocation if she doesn't already have one and thereby establish her financial independence. As others have noted she should be extremely careful not to get snared by the many wolves out there who simply want a good time with a mistress. She should be particularly careful of those showing up as "an angel of light" offering "help" or cash but who may have a hidden agenda.

In the wisdom of our forefathers, marriage dissolution after the passing of one partner (especially the man) should be after one year. What if she is pregnant?
