A viral video of National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah seemingly "scolding" a security officer has sparked a wave of laughter on social media.

In the 16-second clip, Asiedu Nketiah is seen calling out to the security man and questioning whether he was stationed there to work or to chase after women.

The incident, which seems to have taken place during his tour of the Ashanti Region, which commenced on March 25, 2026, drew laughter from people nearby as he repeatedly addressed the officer.

In the video, he can be heard saying: “Security, masa (master), are you here to work or chase after women?”

Meanwhile, Asiedu Nketiah is on a three-day 'Thank You Tour' of the Ashanti Region.

The tour is to thank the electorate for helping the NDC to return to power during the 2024 elections.

He expected to also engage with party leaders and grassroots to assess the government’s performance so far, while briefing them on the government’s plans for the future.
