I have seen a health care staff just sitting down waiting on clock to go home whiles the staff coming into the shift also coming in majestically after being 30 mins late. If not for Ghana where else? The admission process in too skewed to few students with aggregate 7-8 and thereby restricting equally good students who may for some reasons did not live up to expectations in the WASSCE final exams. We complain of lack of doctors. We have the human resource but we need to nurture the resource in the most convenient way to suit our needs. Who said aggregate 24 science student cannot read medicine?

This is a real medical professional explaining what no bed means. All that he has said is nothing but factual. Unlike another medical professional, Dr Ayensu Dankwah, who instead of addressing the issue, tried to do politics with it. As a former emergency nurse, it was always a tug of war between the referral facility to the recipient facility. It's not as easy as the officialdom wants the world to believe. Until something happens, no one cares to find out situations at our hospitals and more importantly, the emergency centers.
It is rather a ploy to extort money.
