The late Naser Toure Mahama, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, was laid to rest on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Madina Cemetery in the Greater Accra Region.

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, led the final Janazah prayers at the National Mosque before the body was transported for burial.

He was supported by other imams who joined in offering prayers for the late legislator.

The funeral service drew wide attendance, including Members of Parliament from both the Majority and Minority sides, who gathered to pay their last respects.
