Accra Hearts of Oak welcome FC Samartex 1996 on matchday 16 of the ongoing 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians will host the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League champions at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Accra Hearts of Oak are going into the game on the back of a goalless drawn game on matchday 15 against league leaders Aduana Stars at the Agyeman Badu Stadium in Dormaa Ahenkro.

FC Samartex on the other hand managed a slim 1-0 victory against Kpando Hearts of Lions on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Samartex Park Tarkwa on matchday 15 in the ongoing league campaign.

A victory for Accra Hearts of Oak will take them to the second position on the Ghana Premier League table with 28 points.

FC Samartex on the other hand will move to the third position with 27 points after 16 games.
