The Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency, Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, in collaboration with the Salaga District Office of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), is undertaking a free NHIS registration and renewal exercise for residents of the Kulaw (Abromase) enclave.
The initiative forms part of activities marking the annual Kulaw/Lor Ekun Homecoming, which seeks to promote community development and social welfare.
The exercise has recorded a strong and encouraging turnout, with many residents taking advantage of the opportunity to either register for the first time or renew their NHIS membership.
Earlier, during similar exercises held in the Kpembe, Kafaba and Makango wards, the MP explained that the initiative is aimed at expanding access to quality healthcare by ensuring that more constituents are enrolled onto the NHIS.
She reaffirmed her commitment to sustaining the programme and extending it to more communities across the Salaga South Constituency.
The ongoing exercise highlights the MP’s dedication to improving healthcare access and enhancing the overall well-being of residents within the constituency.
