There was a heated exchange between Nana Yaw Kesseh, the sit-in host of Peace FM’s Kokrokoo morning show and Kojo Danquah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), during the Friday, October 24, 2025, edition of the programme.
The disagreement erupted when Danquah accused the host of giving more airtime to fellow panelist Kwesi Kwarteng, a former spokesperson for the Ministry of Education.
Danquah alleged that Kwarteng was being allowed to “dictate the pace” of the discussion.
“If you give him (Kwesi Kwarteng) that time, you have not been fair to me…yYou are making Kwesi Kwarteng dictate the pace of this show, which is not fair,” he complained.
His comment, however, did not sit well with Nana Yaw Kesseh, who took exception to the accusation and cautioned Danquah against making such remarks on air.
“Kojo, stop that joke. You better stop that joke with me. I don’t take such jokes lightly. You better respect yourself. Kwesi, start round two,” the host fired back.

Despite the warning, Danquah maintained his stance, insisting the host had been unfair to him.
“Honestly, you have not been fair,” he retorted.
In response, Nana Yaw Kesseh clarified that airtime allocation depended on how panelists used their opportunities to speak.
“If I didn’t give you time, that’s a different matter,” he replied.
Danquah then interjected, saying, “No, he made a comment about galamsey, and I have to respond.”
But Nana Yaw Kesseh firmly responded, “You don’t decide how I run my show. It is not about fairness…but you choose what to discuss with your time.”
