The Seleção Sub-20 of Brazil have been eliminated from the ongoing U-20 FIFA World Cup in Chile.

The five times world champions bowed out of the competition in Chile without a single victory after three games in Group C.

Brazil lost to Spain and Morocco 1-0 and 2-1 respectively before drawing 2-2 with Mexico.

They ended their campaign with just a point. Morocco and Mexico secured the automatic two slots for the knockout stage after finishing first and second with 6 and 5 points respectively.

Spain on the other hand will hope to finish amongst the four best third-placed teams across all groups with their four points.

Brazil have five U-20 FIFA World Cup trophies, won in 1983, 1985, 1993, 2003 and 2011.
