Thirty-two outstanding brands and business leaders were celebrated at the 2025 edition of the Ghana Corporate Brands Awards (GCBA), held at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
The prestigious awards scheme, now firmly established as Ghana’s premier platform for corporate brand recognition, was instituted to honour companies and executives that consistently deliver excellence in products and services, uphold strong corporate social responsibility (CSR) values, and contribute meaningfully to national development.
Organisers of the GCBA emphasised that the initiative seeks not only to recognize exceptional performance but also to inspire corporate Ghana to pursue innovation, leadership excellence, and sustainable branding strategies that create long-term value for customers and communities.
This year’s theme placed special focus on encouraging brands to “innovate, lead with distinction, and thrive in competitive markets.”
Among the notable awardees were:
Rehoboth Properties Limited – adjudged Brand of the Year in Property Development for its groundbreaking work in delivering affordable housing solutions to Ghanaians.
Bel Aqua – honoured as Water Brand of the Year in recognition of its dominance in the bottled water industry and its commitment to quality and accessibility.
Dr Emmanuel Gyimah Amankwa, CEO of Ridge Medical Center – named Outstanding CEO of the Year for his visionary leadership in transforming healthcare delivery.
The ceremony brought together captains of industry, marketing and branding experts, policymakers, and media personalities in a vibrant atmosphere that celebrated corporate excellence.
Event Director of the Ghana Corporate Brands Awards, Seth Joojo Danso Asante noted that the scheme continues to provide a credible platform for benchmarking brand performance in Ghana, adding that the success stories of award winners serve as powerful case studies for other businesses seeking to strengthen their market relevance.
The 2025 edition reaffirmed the GCBA’s role as not just an award scheme, but a movement driving corporate Ghana towards higher standards of innovation, ethical leadership, and social impact.
