I'm very sure she made this submission in English language. She speaks English with her kids at home, hires an English teacher to give her kids extra classes and laces her local language with English. And then hypocritically she'll turn round to ask for the inclusion of her local language in our curriculum to preserve a culture which is dynamic and which her children will not be part of.
Didn't we recently see the son of the Asantehene graduate from an international school where English language is the only medium of communication and on his way to the United States for further education? Then they hypocritically ask us to stick to our local language which is about to get extinct and which are not languages of opportunity like English language! Such hypocrisy!

Every few yards in Africa, you find a tribe with a different language, different Chief with no power. Instead of coming together stronger, it’s the same disunity into 2025.

Madness even the Ahantes had abandoned their language and speaks Fante instead. Talk about better issues and stop the tribal nonsense

I’m FULLY behind this suggestion. As a matter of fact, we must ensure that one of our languages is lost. Many of our languages are getting lost and we need to have measures to prevent such a sad situation.

I'm sorry for this confused lady trying to gain attention. Because she doesn't seem to know that Ahantas are Akans; that all Akans speak Twi; that Ayinda is just a dialect of Twi, even if distinctive Asante, Adansi, Akwapim, Akyem, Akwamu, Ayinda, Assin, Aowin, Bawule, Bono, Denkyira, Kwahu, Fanti, Nzima, Sefwi, Wassa. For her information, Akans are subdivided into these16 groups and we are certainly NOT going to advocate for the teaching of dialects to enhance division instead of cohesion. She should not expose her ignorance.
