The government has pledged to complete all the Agenda 111 hospitals of which an allocation was made in 2025 budget. Allow the President to implement his policies and projects for the Ghana we need. All MMDAs were asked to complete all outstanding projects within their jurisdictions with the enhanced DACF allocations for 2025. Every MMDA will receive not less than 22 million Ghana cedis for this year to implement their work plans. During the past government, the yearly allocation were never up to 6 million a year throughout the 8 years. Every quarter the actual receipts by the MMDAs were ranging from GHC 280,000 to GHC 350,000.

A govt in power gets the mandate of Ghanaians to use the state's resources for devt. If the govt is voted out already started projects must be completed to benefit the tax payers. Where malfeasance has been committed let the courts deal with those found culpable but the projects must be completed for the benefit of the people. This applies to all projects including the sugar factory.

If money was already borrowed for 111 project where will JDM get the rest of money needed for completion. The government must focus on the idea of CHPS because the mass of our people in the rural areas lack good medical facilities. It makes a lot of sense to secure these rural folks with some kind of improved medical facilities in the interim as the government raises some funds to complete the Agenda 111 projects which were not even well thought out projects in terms of funding.
I encourage the government to go on with its good intention to provide our people better health in the shortest possible time instead of depending solely on the so-called Agenda 111 which will take a longer period to complete due to lack of funds.

Are we saying we turn all our resources into building health facilities, then lm afraid it will take us centuries to develop. Malaria which is predominantly the ailment mostly recorded at our health facilities can be eradicated or reduced considerably to the barest minimum and concentrate on reducing non communicable diseases through a healthy lifestyle sensitization programs. By this the budget will have some breather and other sectors will see more light of day. My take as humble citizen.
