  People like me in Ghana chose that Profession because it is the Devil’s Alternative. After UCC, one’s job is assured. What about University of Ghana, KNUST, and the many others that are springing up? Do you know the number of Teachers in our schools who are considered PUPIL TEACHERS because they are not Professionals and can never be Heads of Schools or even their Assistants. Many become Teachers because that is the best alternative left.

If you are one of those teachers who went to demonstrate yesterday then shame on you . You have waited for 8 months without pay and this month when parliament have budgeted to pay you on second half of the year ( all areas) , you allowed a politician to trick you to fool yourself. Did you get your money yesterday?
