Nobody was constrained to use the courier service. One could choose not to use it. Nobody was prevented from using Fedex, DHL or any other courier service to send things to the Embassy.

And if the Ambassador herself is involved then it becomes a Master Conflict of Interest - Period

He was not stealing from Ghana so what did he do wrong.

I am very disappointed in madam hajia for participating in the create, loot and share scheme of the bedevil NPP party. Those so called extra charges for fast delivery are never materialized because it was a blunt-ant excuse to siphon money from prospective customers. Madam hajia must know that nothing shall prevent the matter being looked into by the relevant authorities. You were quiet until the minister activated the document to tailor it for prosecution before you speak. So you are part of the crime and must be investigated as well.

How can who is co-owner with a business entity be an issue when that money earned by the Ghanians goes to strength his people back home or give employment to Ghanians.

Kwateng was sent to the Embassy in 2014 under Mahama and he as been operating this business since with his Co partnership ensuring smooth delivery to passport holders.

Kwateng owns a pharmaceutical company in Ghana since 2012 employing close 300 staffs.

That money could have gone to a US or Jaimacsn citizen that is ok for you

Fred Kwarteng Ghana Tours advertised and have their phone numbers on your website, embassy website. They were not offering courier services alone as signed by you but were doing documentation services to for $60 . This 60 could and should be done by the embassy. The IT system have made to difficult to fill the right forms online. Most people end up going to Fred Kwarting company. That company have people on phone ready to speak to you in any Ghanaian language to fill forms for you and they will do the courier service, you get it faster too. Also, similar website to the embassy is online and you get your visa and passport back faster than the Ghana embassy website. Alima , don’t ever use the word “ no possibility”

The fact that she is speaking out now is probably because the prosecutors deem her as a suspect and is building a case against her.

As a lawyer, what she said made no sense. Which means that she must be very desperate at this point.

How can the courier service provided by the embassy staff be the only service provider on the official embassy site and charges over 100 USD for the courier service? They don't even have any logistical capabilities and still have to pay for UPS or FedEx to deliver the mail anyways. This is a total scam.

This is the reason why our previous government is unable to make the e visa application and payment
totally online. Bawumia wanted to do it in his first term but later stopped and never mention a word again. Because too many NPP appointees at the consulates and Embassies are stealing visa fees one way or the other. Bawumia did not want to step on their toes. Just a few years ago the same scandal was exposed at the Houston consulate but no sanctions happened under Nana Addo watch as usual. The previous administration mentality is let steal and loot together so that no one exposes them.
