Apart from his tantrums he is well versed in issues like this. In any case sometimes we need people with tantrums especially to tackle head on (in the case of nana Akuffo Addo/ Bawumia) poor governance who only knew how to assault the public purse and national covers to only their best interest and their cronies.
I like the way he came out calmly and appealer to the electorates during the December 2024 elections. Even though this is always the style of Martin Amidu . This worked.During that I remember some group of people saying we all really need to come out and vote the NPP party out of power. He look at the solemn, calm and straight to the point appeal Martin Amidu is making.
Martin you are always making impact even when you make some of your tantrumic outbursts.
Besides you are intelligent. Many have learned from most of epistles even though many say they are always too lengthy. This very article has been very short and straightforward to the point.
Bless you Martin

Isn't he rather fearless and speaks his mind? He criticised Mills, Mahama and Nana Add when they were all in power. He may not always be right, but clearly not a parasite.

Very honest and fearless. NPP tried to gag him by sending thugs to his residence to attack him but he never kept quiet.
In his prime age at the Navrongo Secondary School in his quest and ambition to do law after his A-levels was already discharging his duties as a lawyer in a way. He was what we used to call ‘Prep Prefect’ he followed the school regulations and made sure every student was settled down in his or her classroom quiet doing their assignments. If you were found a culprit your name would be sent to what we used to call ‘project’ ( your name will be added to the project list then on Saturday and Sunday while others are enjoying their weekend the culprits will be projected in other words given hard work to do as punishment for fitting one’s rest for the weekend.
One could hear his voice echoing very loud in the school premises.
Some of us were in first year and second year whilst he was in sixth form (lower and upper)
That was Martin Amidu as at the time so no doubt that he climbed the ladder and once AG hence has made so much impact on the Ghanaian society and the citizenry and is still making.
I can still picture him some times on our classroom( form one and two Gold) veranda making sure that everyone is settled in class doing their assignments.
This was far back in the early seventies- 1971,1972,1973 or so.
I am sure many have silently learnt a lot from you especially the law students/ young lawyers and loves you while some see you as an enemy.
Whatever the case JESUS CHRIST loves all of you; he who believes in Him will not be condemned but have eternal life..

Which constitutional precedent is this warped mind talking about? This particular case has generated si much public interest and attention that overrides any so called constitutional precedent this warped mind and the politically motivated chairman Pwamang is talking about? Presidential election petitions falls within the same category but because of public interest it's waived!! The person being tried, in whose interest this provision has been has requested for a public/live trial? What's there to hide? Fools and cowards in government!!

What about the hypothesis that it will enlighten the minds of the society. At least we saw the election petition. Or the ndc people are afraid of humiliation?

Was the constitution dead, when the government first leaked the removal process in public without informing the Chief Justice in secret as the constitution demanded? Did Amidu not see that?

Martin, what integrity are you talking about. I thought the president when he was the opposition leader said our judiciary has no integrity, and when he wins power he will change the CJ. Now that he is doing what he promised we are being told he is just conveyer belt. Agreed, but since he told us the judiciary has no integrity, what integrity are we protecting. Why don't you John Airbus Mahama made it open so that we will all know the sins of the CJ. If the woman took money from president Akufo Addo before confirming his victory in 2020, like Justice Atuguba did in 2012, we all will know.

I agree with Compatriot Amidu that impunity on the bench (judiciary) must be DISCIPLINED by the ELECTED EXECUTIVE (President Mahama) as power resides with him and as well as the Commander in Chief fully expressed in the Ghana Constitution. Indeed, the subject of integrity of the judiciary is best revealed by the high standards of legal interpretation of the law. Very Bad Rulings of the judges on the as political favors ridicule jurisprudence in Ghana. Whose and what INTERESTS do the Courts serve? The Judiciary is NOT ABOVE THE LAW in terms of functional practice. The Judiciary of many nations have Lifetime tenure and many of them are APPOINTED BY THE EXECUTIVE branch of government. The suspended CJ cannot stay in office while under investigation for acts of impunity on the bench. The CJ must be released of active duty until the disciplinary probe is completed, and final corrective action is determined. The question critics of Pre. Mahama should ask themselves is, who disciplines a CJ for misconduct on the bench? The Constitutional provisions state is the President; power to appoint and dismiss. My take in this so-called "Constitutional Crisis" is the need for reform that abolishes the lifetime juridical appointments. Just like the Executive and Legislature subjected to popular electoral vote, all judges must ELECTED by the people. This political laced issue will be put rest permanently. Above all it advances the Class Struggle in Ghana for popular democracy; power to the people!!
