Tyron mobilises 250 South African fans for Black Stars

Accra, June 13, GNA - The Black Stars of Ghana are expected to receive a massive support on Sunday, when they take on Serbia in the opening game of Group D of the 2010 Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) World Cup in South Africa.

This follows the decision of the Management of Tyron Ghana Limited, distributors of Tyron safety products - a tested primary safety product that protects car tyres from dangers to mobilize hundreds of residents and soccer fans in Eesterust, the current training base of the Black Stars to rally support for the game on Sunday.

The company in collaboration with their South African partner, Katlego Modise Senokwane to support the fans and they have also distributed 250 miniature Ghana flags to residents and soccer fans of Eesterust. Emmanuel K. Kyeremey, a Director of the Tyron Ghana Limited, said they are looking forward to massive win for the Black Stars on Sunday, hence the need to mobilise adequate support for the Black Stars.

He said the presentation of the flags comes at the right time and brings happiness and joy to the Eesterust based soccer fans as they prepare to rally behind the team on Sunday in the Ghana colours.

Information gathered by the GNA Sports reveals that residents of Eesterust have since the arrival of the Black Stars made demands for miniature flags of Ghana, souvenirs and paraphernalia designed in the colours of Ghana, as part of their efforts to provide support for the Stars. The Stars played their last game at Esterust against an Academy side and won 4-0.
